Padded watch strap in Pumpkin Vintage Nigerian Goat (Chévre) leather.  The strap is approximately 7mm thick at the lugs tapering to 3mm.
 
This aniline vegetable tanned Goat leather is produced by a small artisan tannery in north-west Nigeria.  It is beautifully soft, strong and has a mellow oiled touch with an antique tipped finish.
 
The strap pictured is a 20mm/18mm tapered strap, lined with black calfskin. The hand burnished edges are dyed black and hand stitched at 4 stitches per cm in Cream (C2). Fitted with a 16mm plain free keeper and a brushed thumbnail buckle.
