A great 'allround' belt made with the best 3.5mm thick English Bridle leather from the famous Sedwicks & Co. Tannery.

J & E Sedgwick & Co was founded in 1900 and moved to their Walsall site in 1954 where they are still based today producing some of the finest British bridle leather available.  This bridle leather is a smooth, supple leather which is incredibly durable.

All our buckles are sourced from a foundry based in Walsall in the UK which has been casting buckles and leather bridle hardware for almost two centuries.

The unusual Marshalsay 'quick release' buckle fitted to this belt is believed to have been originally used to allow firemen to quickly access coiled fire hoses during the Great Fire of London.

The belts are cut, saddle stitched at 2.5 stitches per cm and the edges are burnished all by hand.  Once the belt has been finished it is then hand buffed with a protective layer of wax.

The belt is available in Black, Australian Nut Brown and Mid Tan and cut to whichever width and length you require.  If you require a different size than below, please let us know.
