Casual bi-fold ID wallet in Tempesti Oregon Safari leather. This small wallet measures only 80mm wide by 105mm tall but contains 3 slots for credit cards or cash a further pocket for receipts and a window to display an ID card or Drivers Licence.  The wallet is 12mm thick at the widest part.
 
This leather is produced by Conceria Tempesti of Ponte a Egola, Pisa, Italy.  Their story dates back to the early 1900s, when Giovanni Tempesti, grandfather of the current owners, the cousins Giovanni and Giovanna Tempesti, began the ancient craft of tanning.  Later in the 1930s, his sons Osvaldo and Tullio founded that which would become the Conceria Tempesti in 1946, a company specialized in true vegetable tanned leather.  Twenty-nine skilled workers are employed in two factories, both located in Ponte a Egola.
 
Tempesti Oregon is a 100% vegetable tanned full grain veal hide with natural characteristics and a beutifully soft feel.  The wallet will darken and burnish with age as the natural patina develops.
 
The wallet pictured has dyed black hand burnished edges and is stitched at 2.5 stiches per cm in Cream (C2).
